Llanfaredd Church
(c) Phil Jones
Dedication: St. Mary

A single chambered structure with a spirelet containing a bell of around 1280. The round churchyard is in part lined with upright memorials of varying vintage. Probably the original structure is medieval but considerable rebuilding work was done in 1891. In the west there is an ancient yew tree, and the church contains a certificate of its date. The church is off the B4576 west of Builth, behind Church Farm. Recently the interior has undergone some redecoration and is bright and clean.
